Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel Opening: Friday May 20, 2011

They’re calling it the rock and roll marriage of the year and they’re not wrong! Legendary Ibiza boutique hotel Pikes – yes, the original ‘Club Tropicana’ as seen in the Wham clips and home to that legendary 40th birthday celebration of Freddie Mercury’s plus thousands of other hedonistic tales that can’t be repeated – reopens this summer under the expert management of the Ibiza Rocks team, under the new moniker Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel.

The 500-year old finca retains its original charm, and perhaps looks set to take on even more of a rock and roll reputation, with its new destination bar and restaurant, Room 39, sure to attract the VIP Ibiza Rocks crowd in droves, plus the infamous Marrakech suite now playing host to the bands on this year’s line-ups. Rock and roll all night, and party every day? And vice versa, thanks very much!
