La Cava, Ibiza town, Ibiza, Spain

Cosmopolitan hub

Situated in Ibiza town’s bustling hub of Vara de Rey, La Cava is Ibiza’s premier meeting place and most cosmopolitan tapas experience. Open from 9am until 3am, all year round, it’s the ideal all-occasion location, whether a working breakfast, light lunch, boozy business meeting, birthday party or late night cocktails.

Start the day bright and early with breakfast ranging from Mediterranean fare, full English, fancy French, or tropical fresh fruit served with a glass of cava, all accompanied by La Cava’s delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and perky coffee.

For lunch, it’s hard to go past the ever-changing daily ‘menu del dia’ (three courses with a drink for 11.50€) or a selection from the appetising pintxo (tapas) counter. The classic tapas menu (extending through to dinner) provides traditional options like Galician style octopus, fried eggs with Iberian ham and deluxe chips or the house specialty, croquettes of ham and mozzarella.

Those with a heartier appetite will love 2011’s new menu additions of succulent steak or Iberian pork, the classic burger, grilled chicken or goats cheese salad with tomato jam. Offering something for everyone is all part of La Cava’s commitment to their customers.

The sophisticated, minimal interior, sexy illuminated bar and on-trend music at La Cava evoke the atmosphere of a chic European city – yet another business bang on the money opened by Javier Anadón, head of the famously hospitable Mambo Group, in 2009.

White's Miss W says: 'La Cava is my meeting place of choice, no matter what time of day. Breakfast meetings, lazy lunches, afternoon business discussions, post-work cocktails, pre-clubbing snacks... and the nicest staff in Ibiza town by a long shot!'
