A wide, almost horseshoe shaped bay that is extremely popular with families, Cala Llonga retains a slightly retro feel thanks to the quaint plastic fringed umbrellas dotting the sand and the many resort-style restaurants surrounding the beach. The variety of menu options on offer means there's something to suit all taste buds and just as importantly, all budgets.

Surrounded by an amazing pine forest, the 360-degree view from the sand is postcard perfect - you'll find the tranquil waters very shallow and crystal clear. The conbination of soft sand and gentle sea makes it the perfect place to swim.

The beach area of Cala Llonga is somewhat like a mini-resort - everything you could possibly dream of needing is on hand. Just a few steps away from the sunbeds you'll find an assortment of bars, restaurants, shops, a supermarket, a children's playground and even a doctor, should the need arise.

Location: From Ibiza Town: 10 minute drive. From San Antonio: 25 minute drive.

Cala Llonga is accessible by bus and ferry from both Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town. There is limited parking for private cars in the area and a taxi stand at the top of the beach.

Be sure to head around to the right of Cala Llonga to the cove of Sol Den Serra, where you'll find the all-new Amante Beach Club and Restaurant.
