Cala Xuclar, Ibiza Beach

Cala Xuclar, Ibiza Beach

A tiny, horseshoe shaped bay surrounded by rustic fishing huts and crystal clear water, Cala Xuclar is a peaceful hideaway offering a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of tourist-filled beaches in the height of summer. Surrounded by hills covered in green trees and rocky coast, the raw nature of the area feels like one of the last undiscovered bastions of Ibiza beach life…

Location:
In the northwest of Ibiza, close to Portinatx and next to Cala Xarraca.

Who goes there: Never overcrowded, Cala Xuclar is the domain of clued-up Spanish holidaymakers and Ibiza’s tight knit northern expat community.

When to go:
A great weekend escape, while other beaches are buzzing, Cala Xuclar is a breath of tranquil, fresh seaside air. It’s also a great escape in the hectic peak of August.

White-Escapes loves:
The intimate size of Cala Xuclar – it’s a welcome change after visiting some of the larger beaches of the island. The perfect balance.
