Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Beach

Playa de Santa Eulalia

Fun in the sun is what this beach is all about, whether swimming, water sports or simply sunbathing. Simply stroll along the promenade – also easily accessible for wheelchairs – before picking your perfect patch of soft sand (or sun bed!) to set up camp, whether for a long day out, or just a quick swim. Clear, shallow water make it the perfect place for kids and snorkeling plus the resort-style feel of the town evokes that authentic ‘on holiday’ vibe all-year-round.

Location:
Centrally located on the east coast of Ibiza’s third largest town, Santa Eulalia des Riu.

Who goes there: Extremely popular with holidaymakers and families, plus a loyal year-round British expat community.

When to go:
The morning sun in Santa Eulalia is stunning in all its glory, as the sun rises over the east coast and the earlier you arrive, the more chance you have to pick the best spot on the beach. It’s often crowded at lunch, as workers descend on the sand for their siesta.

White-Escapes loves: Surrounded by a multitude of restaurants, bars and shops, Santa Eulalia is a central, social hub, meaning your day at the beach can easily extend to dinner or drinks in the village.
