
Quite possibly one of the most iconic of all Ibiza beaches, Las Salinas is a long expanse of soft golden sand surrounded by a nature reserve including sand dunes, pine forests and spectacular salt flats.
The sea is particularly salty here, which makes it incredibly easy to stay afloat when in the water, and fabulous for long swims.
Dotted with infamous chiringuitos, where DJs spin Balearic beats until the sun goes down, Las Salinas is extremely popular with the jet-set crowd however people from all walks of life - from Spanish families to hippy nudists - all converge on her shores.
Continue walking past the beach bars and you'll come to an amazing clearing where the rock formations have been carved into some amazing creations - walk further and you'll find the old pirate watchtower - the area is very popular for nature walks so you won't be alone in your discovery.
