A tiny secluded cove surrounded by rocky cliffs and lush green foliage. Park yourself on a sun bed, settle on the sand or get explorative and swim and snorkel around the rocky bay to check out hidden underwater caves. The water’s edge at S’Estanyol is made up of hard pebbles, so use the long plank leading in to avoid hurting your feet. Once you’re in, it’s crystal clear and always the perfect temperature.

Who goes there?

S’Estanyol is secluded, making it popular with visiting celebrities and island locals alike. It’s also a post-party haunt for underground clubbing types who revel in the bay’s tranquility ‘the morning after the night before.

When to go

When all other beaches are swamped, S’Estanyol is a great alternative, due to its off the beaten track location. Late afternoons are best, when there’s plenty of shade beneath the trees but sun hitting the sand and water – the best of both worlds.

White Ibiza loves

The special – and often secret – events that take place on S’Estanyol throughout summer. From Cocoon after parties to OTT Swedish House Mafia extravaganzas and laidback live concerts by Groove Armada, anything is possible in this amazing location.
