Hello sailor…
The British-built, classic sailing boat Myrach II – a 17-metre Moody 54 made from glossy teak, with sophisticated navy blue finishes and billowing white sails – was named for a constellation of stars, and in terms of quality, style and luxury, it certainly deserves at least five. They don’t call it the Rolls Royce of the sea for nothing!
Available to charter for a day, or, if you prefer, days on end, when it comes to size, Myrach II is j-u-u-s-t right. Big enough to sail swiftly across the Mediterranean Sea, yet still small enough to dart in and out of Ibiza’s many beautiful coves, its spacious layout makes it ideal for groups of friends or families.
Sleeping up to six guests, the vessel is like a sailing apartment, featuring an open plan living and kitchen area, two cabins with double beds (with ensuite in the main), plus an additional cabin with twin beds. With the average price of a weeklong charter (including captain) totalling less than a standard Ibiza hotel for six people, why resist the urge to wake up and embark on a different adventure each morning?
By day, make the most of the expansive sunbathing deck, snorkeling and scuba diving equipment, with a dinghy ready to take you ashore for quality beach time and fabulous restaurants, in Ibiza and Formentera. By night, she’s moored in the ultra-glamorous new Marina Ibiza complex, with Ibiza’s vibrant, buzzing social scene located conveniently on your doorstep.
But don’t be fooled into thinking Myrach II is just a summer fling – her resistant, well built exterior was built to withstand all seasons, and Ibiza’s glorious low-season temps are perfect for cruising the coastline all-year-round. Rug up, set sail and don’t look back… until it’s time to change course, of course!
