Deliciously Sorted are on-island experts when it comes to handling the requests of their VIP clientele – from the big things, like luxury villas and securing VIP villa party invites, to precision timed restaurant bookings to all the little things you don’t hear about, to organising and managing staff, coordinating repairs, and shopping. The following details are taken from a high-end VIP client itinerary, showing the detail and service provided over a seven-night stay in July.

Pre-arranged details

  • Hand-pick villa to client’s specifications
  • Liaise with client’s PA in NY (time difference: six hours behind) regarding arrangements and final details
  • Car rental - two cars on two different dates
  • Hotel reservations for client’s drivers
  • Multiple restaurant reservations (as detailed below)
  • Arrange mobile phones for client’s drivers
  • Shopping according to list, delivered to house and put away, nicely presented fruit basket, flowers, scented candles and more
  • Clean towels and beach sundries from year before and place in villa
  • Meet drivers and guide them to villa, give maps, island guides and detailed information on Island, directions and important landmarks
  • Debrief on house details with housekeeper

During the stay

  • Provide 24/7 personal service and be on call 24 hours for directions (drivers were from Ireland with no previous island knowledge), plus any speaking in Spanish/translations where necessary
  • Collect clients from private airport
  • Organise boat hire (two charters) on a Fairline Targa 52ft and the Geisha sailing boat
  • Organise private chef briefed to client’s food specifics
  • Organise massages
  • Secure invitations to private VIP villa party (through Lucinda, DS VIP Nightlife concierge specialist)
  • Suggest, make, change, cancel and warn of late arrival on restaurant reservations
  • Nightclub suggestions and VIP table bookings in major clubs. Booked Tiësto at Privilege, F*** Me I’m Famous at Pacha and Armin Van Buuren at Amnesia (All booked by Lucinda)
  • Personally meet and greet clients at each night club, allowing them to jump the queue, escort them to their tables and ensure club staff give them preferential treatment
  • Dedicated shopping trip with Lucinda to the best fashion boutiques in Ibiza, including Ganesha, Mayurka, leather maker in San Miguel and Las Dalias hippy market

After stay

  • Liaise with client’s PA in NY (time difference: six hours behind)
  • Buy two iPods, take to captain (one as gift, one to load with music)
  • Send second iPod with music to client in NY
  • Send hats left behind to NY
  • Buy gift certificate from Atzaró for Spa day for captain
  • Pay tips to staff
  • Re-order photos from photo shop and have copies sent to NY
  • Return of rental cars
  • Put beach sundries into storage for next year

Lunch: Es Torrent with crispy rice dish pre-ordered for 4.30pm
Dinner: Can Berri San Agusti, with table for four outside facing church

Sunday
Lunch: Juan y Andrea in Formentera at 3pm, ordering sea bass baked in salt.
Dinner: Private chef for fresh fish and meat barbeque in villa.

Monday
Lunch: Es Xarcu with paella pre-ordered for 3pm
Dinner: El Clodenis

Tuesday
Lunch: Es Torrent
Dinner: Las Dos Lunas

Wednesday
Lunch: Juan y Andrea in Formentera
Dinner: Destino or Trattoria del Sole (wasn’t pre-booked, can be done last minute after lengthy consultations and recommendations)

Thursday
Lunch: El Chiringuito at Es Cavallet
Dinner: La Paloma

Friday
Lunch: Yemanjá
Dinner: Can Pau
