Las Brisas, Es Porroig, Ibiza, Spain

Life’s a breeze

Small, charming and luxurious, Ibiza four-star hotel Las Brisas sits on a privileged Es Porroig cliff top, overlooking the picturesque bay of Es Cubells. The tranquil location combined with its colourful mix of Moroccan and Ibicenco architecture and eclectic décor has been attracting jetsetting international families for over 16 years.

There are just ten rooms – seven double rooms, two junior suites and one apartment-style grand suite – uniquely styled with impeccable attention to detail.

From exotic buddhas, canopy beds, ornate velvet and leather sofas, Moroccan lamps, stylish water features, mosaics, arched doorways, Kahlo-esque art, African and Oriental artefacts, terracotta tiling, ancient clay urns, Sabina celings and colourful paintwork, every room, terrace, courtyard, nook, cranny and corner is a vibrant, visual feast.

Speaking of feasts, the hotel’s restaurant serves up modern Mediterranean cuisine, from salads and soups to homemade pastas, fresh seafood and meat from the grill. Breakfast (included in room rates) is served anywhere you like, between 8.30am and the luxuriously late 4pm!

Las Brisas features a private tennis court and courtyard gym plus an expansive green lawn and swimming pool area, surrounded by tropical palms, chic sun lounges and an intimate bar, beautifully illuminated by night. Perched on the edge of the cliff, deluxe day beds catch the fresh summer breeze for which the hotel was named. Heavenly…

White’s Miss W says:Las Brisas reminds me of a beautiful Mexican hideaway one minute… then a colourful Peruvian villa… then a traditional Ibicenco finca… then a Moroccan riad! I love that there is just so much going on here, and it all blends in seamlessly, creating the perfect holiday ambience.’
