Sonic Vista Studios is housed within a 400 year-old traditional Ibicenco villa, perched high atop a hill with spectacular views over the campo and out to sea. More importantly, it’s kitted out with all the high-tech, high-definition, high quality tools of the music trade. In other words, it's wired for sound.

Recording, mixing, engineering and mastering are among the many services offered in this one-stop musical shop. The facility offers four studios rooms plus a remote recording system and in addition, artists can take up residence at the villa to maximise their creative experience. It’s easy to see how this stunning location inspires visiting and local musicians alike.

Upon entering Studio A, one witnesses a ruby-hued room resembling a flight deck with its mind-boggling array of knobs, buttons and screens. Here you’ll find the highly skilled mastermind behind Sonic Vista Studios, L. Henry Sarmiento II. His main priority? ‘To capture the magic,’ he says, applying his New York mindset to Ibiza. Proof magic really does happen: Lady Gaga wrote and recorded her hit song 'Alejandro' in this very spot.

With fingers firmly on the pulse of the global music industry and new advances in technology, Sonic Vista recently became the first recording studio in the world to develop an iPhone/iPad application. Henry is also constantly scouting for new talent, and current projects include up-and-coming artists Katy Shotter and Liam Gerner. You heard it here first!

Whether working with unsigned artists or established acts such as Akon, Ms. Dynamite, Andy Taylor and Rebeka Brown (to name drop a few), the unstoppable driving passion behind the expert studio team is to create GREAT music. Songwriter summits are regularly held here, however if you prefer, the Sonic Vista team can write your hit song for you.
