Ibiza photographer Anne Walker, founder of Ibiza Photography, loves the strength and simplicity of capturing a smile on camera, believing the true essence of a place or event can be reflected in its people.

It was a discovery she made while traveling through colourful, historical and truly breathtaking locations such as India, Thailand and Vietnam while working for a tour company in 2003. The opportunity to travel enabled Anne to spend time learning photography on-the-job, recording all her experiences and ultimately seeing the stories of each location etched into the faces of her subjects.

Returning to Ibiza – the Mediterranean paradise she has called home for the past 10 years – Anne quickly realised photography was her calling. Weddings and special events became her forte, where her natural ability to interact with people and put them at ease ensures she captures natural, spontaneous and vibrant imagery.

Anne’s reportage style of shooting allows her to act as a casual observer at special events, with a keen eye for capturing candid moments.
