Set en route to the idyllic village of Sant Joan, this Ibiza bar first opened in July 2005 and has recently undergone a major transformation to reinvent itself as a luxury destination for those in the know, open from May to October to welcome the coolest islanders and most discerning of celebrities.
Based on the idea of evoking the unique energy of Ibiza and the best of island life, Aura is a totally social space. Bespoke seating is arranged in organic circular lines, creating harmony, while Ibiza and its famous sunsets were the inspiration for designer Clare Bloomer, who chose peach, gold, pink and sand hues to reflect the glow of the rising and setting sun.
Further enhancing the social atmosphere is the menu in this Ibiza restaurant, with a selection of small and delicious tapas plates made from only the finest of ingredients. Perfect for sharing as you lounge amidst Balinese cushions on Moroccan leather banquettes on the enclosed and exclusive terrace.
The next ingredients in the cocktail shaker are Aura’s resident mixologists who have come direct from London to shake and stir the yummiest drinks on the island. As well as creating six exclusive-only-to-Aura cocktails there are super-sized cocktails perfect for sharing over sunset sojourns in this Ibiza bar.
Rounding out the Aura experience is music, from sophisticated lounge music and Balearic moods to an array of electro and techno beats. The selection of glitzy nights includes Monday’s Money, Success, Fame, Glamour, Tuesday’s fashionable Le Suite, Icon Events Presents Wednesdays (featuring DJs Jo Mills, Tomas Hedberg and Andy Wilson), the ever-popular Dantz returns to Fridays and Just House takes over Saturdays, supported by Ibiza Sonica Radio.
