A new aura
Five years into its tenure as one of the coolest lounge bars and restaurants in Ibiza, Aura takes the ‘It Bar’ status up a notch by undergoing one of the biggest makeovers the island has ever seen. Since its previous transformation in 2008, anyway!
Shuffling its outdoor carpark across the street to make way for a magical garden restaurant space - designed by internationally renowned landscaper James Holderness - lined with tall palm trees, fragrant citrus orchards and lush Mediterranean vegetation, Aura’s new look enriches your dining-beneath-the-stars experience.
Based on the idea of evoking the unique energy of the white isle, bespoke seating is arranged in organic circular lines, creating harmony, while Ibiza’s famous sunsets were designer Clare Bloomer’s inspiration when choosing peach, gold, pink and sand hues for the colour themes.
The mouth-watering modern menu is designed for sharing – cuisine prepared with an international flair, like tender grilled lamb cutlets, salt and chili squid or an amazingly decadent lobster club BLT.
Two private dining rooms seating up to 20 (with private bars and bathrooms), cater to large groups, events and VIPs. Meanwhile the new world-class cocktail terrace is hosted by legendary beverage director Chris Edwards, who’ll be shaking and stirring super delicious cocktails all night long. Expect classics recreated for Ibiza like the Beach Martin, with vermouth replaced by Hierbas Ibizencas.
Rounding out the Aura experience – in legendary Ibiza style - is music. On any given night, expect to see some of the world’s most famous DJs and artists performing unplugged and unannounced sets in the all new DJ suite (in partnership with Pioneer and complete with mini bar and seating reserved for the entourage), alongside music director Antz and new residents Danny Rampling, Nightmares on Wax’s DJ E.A.S.E, Lottie and Rusty Egan.
A new era for Aura… we like!
