Survey the Las Salinas scene as you pitch up at rustic wooden tables on a terrace strung with brightly coloured buoys plucked straight from the water below. Order a cocktail (or two!) as you peruse the spoilt-for-choice menu, created by long-time chef Ignacio Bolaños and complemented with expertly selected wines.
Brimming with hearty fresh salads, gourmet pizzas, the finest cuts of meat, and spectacular seafood, it is almost impossible to resist the Atun Jockey – a seared tuna steak served with sweet and sour sauce and Manchego cheese or indulge in the chef’s signature daily specials.
For the perfect seaside snack, spectacular fruit platters, exotic fruit kebabs, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies hold endless appeal as do crepes, cakes and luscious scoops of mango, tangerine and mint sorbet. Early birds agree breakfast on the beach - croissants, tostadas, eggs, fresh fruit and muesli – is essential, and arrive early to snap up those highly-sought after sun beds for the day!
After 20 seasons, no two days here have ever been the same. Oliver Lanzoni took the proverbial Jockey Club reins from his father eight years ago, after working his way up through the family business from running orders to finally running the show. Ultra professional service, positive energy and amazing food in a beautiful, free-spirited environment is his passion, staying true to Jockey Club’s heritage.
