Crisp, white design elements combined with an open-air ambience sets Mint apart from her famous neighbours, attracting a sophisticated, multicultural crowd. The space was given its new lease of life by the renowned Anadón family (of Café Mambo fame) in 2010, however despite its proximity and relation to its iconic sister, Mint is worlds apart.
The innovative Italian-influenced menu features handmade pizzas, arriving on your plate in asymmetrical shapes thrown by chefs in the kitchen, with gourmet toppings like chunky lamb ragu, or fig, Gorgonzola and Parma ham.
Craving comfort? Try the tasty homemade pastas with flavorsome fresh sauces like Amatrciana or seafood with prawns, mussels, clams, calamari and baby squid. Further must-tries include the ‘Bloody Mary’ prawn cocktail and crispy shrimp and calamari with red pesto.
Mint’s cocktail menu is bursting with unique concoctions and exotic flavours. Sip on Caipirinhas made with Chinese mandarin or fresh passionfruit, deluxe strawberry daiquiris, minty mojitos or sour apple martinis.
The kitchen is open until 2am for those wanting a late night snack, however early birds will be pleased to note healthy and delicious breakfasts are also served from 11am.
