Room service with a twist

There’s one room in Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel where you can check in without a room key: Room 39 – the legendary hotel’s modern, in-house restaurant and bar serving up a Brit-themed menu with a rock and roll twist.

Head chef Roland Hancox is an expert at serving up three square meals a day, starting with a delicious all-day breakfast, ranging from continental and buttermilk pancakes to the best full English on the island.

For lunch and dinner, opt for hearty steaks with Bearnaise sauce, racks of lamb with black olive cous cous, freshly caught seafood and more. Those with a sweet tooth take note: desserts include classic tiramisu and the world’s best lemon tart.

On Sundays, it’s all about a traditional roast with all the trimmings, while DJs spin laidback beats by the pool and on Saturdays, the afternoon barbeque boasts an array of freshly grilled meats with glazes and relish to get you in the party spirit.

Speaking of spirits, take a seat at the bar and order up a ‘Rocktail’, from classics like the Sunday Bloody Sunday Mary and Punk a Colada, to modern faves like the Mick Jagger Swagger, Champagne Supernova and as legend would have it, Club Tropicana…
