The concept of Savannah Beach Club is simple: a relaxed environment where you can eat, drink and watch the last twinkling rays of the sun descend into the sea, providing a sophisticated respite from the madness associated with Ibiza’s second city, San Antonio.
Recline on the restaurant terrace as you tuck into fresh fish or the legendary Argentine steak with roast vegetables, or step up to the swanky magenta-lit bar for a strawberry daiquiri. Sunset cocktails are the order of the day and Savannah recently extended to include Kama Sushi, an über-cool cocktail and sushi lounge, situated right next door, where those in the know love the Lychee Mojito, a lush blend of rum, lychees, mint and lime.
Open until 1am, the sushi bar serves up a variety of sashimi, nigiri, uramaki, and hossomaki rolls, plus an a la carte fusion menu. To start, sip on steamy Miso soup or order small plates like edamame, gyoza and vegetable tempura to share.
For mains, we recommend the temaki, a cone of rice wrapped in seaweed and filled with different flavoursome mixes, while the Tokyo Burger, Katsu Curry or Teriyaki Salmon satisfy bigger appetities. Spoilt for choice? Order mixed platters to share, such as the Love Me Mix – the chef’s personal selection.
After dinner, it’s all about Savannah’s exclusive clubbing pre-parties, including the all-new Warung on Wednesdays, The Face of Ibiza on Thursdays, and Pete Tong’s Wonderland on Fridays.
Then after dark, the action continues in the Savannah Back Room - an intimate club with an exclusive VIP area, great sound system and ambient lighting. A hot location for private parties hosted by the likes of Steve Angello and Roger Sanchez, it seems there’s no reason to ever leave Savannah – well, at least until the sun comes up!
