Savannah Beach Club and Kama Sushi, Restaurant in Ibiza, Spain
Overlooking the world’s most famous sunset, Savannah Beach Club is a relaxed and sophisticated respite from the madness and frivolity associated with Ibiza’s second city, San Antonio. The concept is simple: a relaxed and luxurious environment where you can eat, drink and watch the last twinkling rays of the sun sink into the sea.
Recline on the terrace as you sink your teeth into fresh fish or the legendary Argentine steak with roast vegetables. Or step up to the swanky magenta-lit bar and order a strawberry daiquiri – the house speciality.
Built in 1997 by the Anadón family of Café Mambo and Villa Mercedes fame, Savannah recently extended to include Kama Sushi, an über-cool cocktail and sushi lounge, perched next door at the end of the promenade.
Cocktails are the order of the day and those in the know opt for the Fuji Sunset, a lush blend of sake, peach schnapps, orange and cranberry juice. Between 6.30 and 9.30pm, a special sunset sushi menu is available, including taster plates, a vegetable mix and platters to share.
Kama’s sushi bar remains open until 1am, and offers sashimi, Nigiri, Maki, Uramaki and Futomaki, plus generous mixed platters for those who can’t pick favourites. Fusion foods like the Tokyo Burger, Chicken Yaki Soba noodles and king prawn salad satisfies bigger appetites and if you’re still peckish, try the Tempura Banana.
After dinner, hop next door to check out Savannah’s exclusive clubbing pre-parties, including the all-new Flamingo Nights with Fedde Le Grand on Tuesdays, Pete Tong’s Wonderland on Fridays and Hed Kandi on Saturdays.
Sunset, sushi, drinks and dancing – a two-stop destination you’ll guarantee to visit many times over.
