Sushipoint, popular Japanese restaurant in Ibiza

Sushipoint, Ibiza, Spain

Sushi by name, sushi by nature (Sushi por nombre, sushi por naturaleza)

After its successful debut season in 2008, Sushipoint Ibiza further established its reputation as one of the island’s most fashionable meeting places by hosting über-cool soirees throughout winter. In 2009, with Argentinean gents Pablo and Gaston at the helm alongside Ibiza PR guru Roman Fortunato, the brand has been rapidly expanding to include sushi bars at Atzaro and Nassau, plus custom event catering and home delivery services.

Celebrities, rock stars, DJs, footballers, models, actors and socialites alike all flock to the Marina Botafoch hangout, where between 1pm and 6pm, you can relax on the decking or make the most of indoor air-conditioned comfort, indulging in fresh juices, delicious cocktails, coffee and taste-sensational (exclusive to Sushipoint) Giangrossi ice cream.

After dark, add candles and chilled beats by DJ Olli Odd plus an extensive sushi menu and exceptional wine list for a stylish and sleek experience. Choose from Asian salads made to order, sushi and sashimi available as plates of eight, 12 or upsized to 30 – including Uramkis, Futowakis, and Nigiris.

While in summer it is a dining-only affair, in the cooler months, an intimate atmosphere is created by enclosing the deck and adding oversized heaters to keep you warm and toasty all night long as Sushipoint’s weekly events become the hub of Ibiza’s social calendar.

For event catering, Sushipoint is at your service. For weddings, villa parties and anything in between, the team arrive equipped with their own bar and prepare everything freshly on site, adapting menus to suit your needs, whether tapas style plates, platters to share or individual meals.

Home delivery can be arranged to nearby locations, while Ocean Drive and El Hotel offer a speedy room service menu. As for those parked portside, why catch your own when you can have it delivered directly to your gangway?

Sushipoint Ibiza could just as easily be somewhere cool and cosmopolitan like New York, with its snazzy soft coloured lighting, sleek furniture, good looking staff and delicious modern sushi menu. But those notoriously intimate late night parties following a luxe dinner? Only in Ibiza...
