The Giri Café, San Juan, Ibiza, Spain

More than meets the eye

Step over the low-key threshold of The Giri Café – built within an historic village townhouse in the heart of San Juan – and you’ll discover much more than meets the eye. A labyrinth of beautifully designed and decorated rooms to discover; a warm, inviting ambience to enjoy and a delectable menu offering options to tempt all taste buds.

Bedecked with natural colours and striking design details such as tiled feature walls, rustic wooden tables, elegantly embossed bronze tables and bamboo ceilings, The Giri Café - an organic extension of neighboring boutique hotel The Giri Residence - seamlessly fuses trend with tradition.

When it comes to food, their philosophy is simple: a modern, Mediterranean Ibiza kitchen, where food is homegrown (cultivating their own produce on an adjacent plot of land), organic where possible and all about the simplicity of fresh flavours. It may say ‘café’ on the signage, but don’t be fooled – this kitchen’s quality far exceeds all expectations.

The stylish, low-lit bar adds a uniquely urban edge to the Giri experience, with an impressive selection of premium spirits lining the shelves, plus classic and contemporary cocktails being expertly shaken and stirred behind the bar. The ideal informal atmosphere to linger long after dinner…

White's Miss W says: 'The experts behind my favourite Ibiza boutique hotel have now gone and worked their magic on a restaurant - which means you don't have to be a guest to enjoy the Giri hospitality, service and ambience. Oh and by the way... best risotto of my life. Hands down.'
