Bright pink dragonflys perch precariously on bars, multicoloured flying fish survey the pristine beach and neon dinosaurs linger elegantly between the palms. But while the décor is indeed a feast for your eyes, an even more amazing culinary journey awaits, courtesy of Ushuaïa executive chef Iván Spinola’s carefully created menu.
Sample beach snacks designed to share, delicious pasta and rice dishes to tempt all tastebuds, a mouthwatering selection of burgers and Ibiza’s lushest cuts of meat fresh from the grill. Choose from the rack of lamb, filet mignon or an enormous T-bone steak for two, or opt for ultra fresh seafood, including lobster plucked straight from the tank.
Dine direct from your deluxe daybed or take respite from the heat beneath the shaded terrace, marveling at the cascading roof garden bedecked with quaint, hand painted birdcages.
Desserts include a DIY tiramisu topped with Hierbas ibicencas while cocktails and champagne – Jeroboams are de rigueur – come direct from cool Balinese cabanas. Laze in the sun, splash in the sea and get lost in Ushuaïa’s Balearic beats floating across the airwaves daily… from midday until the magical early hours.
