Rather than creating conventional seasonal collections, Christine – who arrived in Ibiza in 1978 - prefers to be inspired on a daily basis, whether via classic old movies or people catching her eye on Ibiza’s streets. With over 20 years experience - beginning with suede fringed Bo Derek-esque bikinis which grew organically into the amazingly detailed pieces for which Arizona is now renowned - her work transcends trends to stand the test of time.

Sexy with class is how she describes her work, which boasts a bevy of international and A-list clientele who regularly make return visits and request bespoke Arizona creations. Attention to detail is evident in Christine’s hand-cut and sewn masterpieces like elaborate flowing coats that drape from the body, and eye-catching one-off designs that are like a work of fine art.

From brightly coloured, American Indian inspired fringed dresses and classic western waistcoats to soft, figure hugging frocks, classic calf-length skirts, minis and bustiers, each item features incredible detailing such as metallic studs, contrasting stitching, beadwork, buckles and hand painted designs, (courtesy of Chilean born, Ibiza-based artist Arturo Miranda).
