Wardrobe of dreams
Boutique Dos Lunas, Ibiza Style, Ibiza Spain
Fashionistas dream of that mythical walk in wardrobe, where colours are miraculously coordinated, each ensemble cleverly accessorised and a full-length mirror reflects the perfect look for all occasions. For designer Giada Lucarini, this dream is a nightly reality as she unlocks the doors to the walk-in wardrobe of her own creation, the stunningly chic Boutique Dos Lunas.
Exquisite tactile fabrics hang seductively from the rails, a divine array of patterns, shades, styles and textures making up her Boutique Dos Lunas and Mata Hari ranges - think boho-luxe maxi dresses, girlie-chic sundresses, classy kaftans, elegant evening wear, pretty pashminas, python skin handbags, amazing footwear and oh-so-much more.
Having grown up between Ibiza and Milan, lived in New York and LA plus traveled to many an exotic destination, it’s no surprise Giada’s collections hold a global appeal. Spending four months a year living in Bali, she makes her style-savvy visions come to life through sourcing fabrics, designing new looks and completing production before returning to her original island home to share the lovingly created results.
Complementing Giada’s designs are exclusive pieces hailing from a small collective of creative and stylish Ibiza women – unique modern knits by Elke, colourful hand crocheted one-offs by Daphne Tieleman, highly sought after jewellery from Zara Simon, ethnic chic jewellery by Sara Di Vita, gorgeous handmade leather bags and belts created by Silke and Angela Marti and stunning silk fashions by Anupassa, available only in the boutique
Just like the famous restaurant Las Dos Lunas in which it is housed, the boutique is an experience to be savoured. The island’s chicest women, international celebrities, supermodels and fashion icons regularly spend time here (whether before, after or in place of dining) however if you can’t make it to the boutique, private viewings of the collections can be arranged at your villa or hotel.
A word of warning: excess luggage WILL be required!
