The new bohemian
From the time she could flip through the pages of Vogue, Ibiza stylist and b o h é m e designer Charlotte Kennedy knew there was only one direction her future could possibly take – a one-way trip to the land of fashion, via exotic destinations like India, Bali and Ibiza.
While completing her degree in fashion design, Charlotte began working in show production, assisting legendary producer Lesley Goring and designer Betty Jackson, plus stylists and creative directors at London Fashion Week, Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, Royal College of Art and more.
Production led to styling for fashion magazines – Vogue India and Vogue Turkey are among her credits – and advertising campaigns, further fuelling Charlotte’s passion for travel. A hippie girl at heart, she read about the sunset drumming rituals at Benirras in 2009, and instantly, Ibiza was calling.
Here on the white isle, Charlotte is passionate about supporting the young designers of tomorrow – from Ibiza and around the world – in her on-island show productions and styling work. ‘Live the life you dream, and wear the dream you live,’ is her mantra, practicing what she preaches on a daily basis.
Staying true to her bohemian free spirit, Charlotte spends winter traveling, taking ideas, inspiration, materials and techniques from her adventures in Asia before returning home to Ibiza each summer to create new b o h é m e collections, available from selected Ibiza retailers.
