Natasha Collis, San Miguel, Ibiza, Spain

Northern gem

Opposite a beautiful church with gorgeous views over a valley, in an area known as ‘Artisan Hill’ is a gem of a jewellery store and one of San Miguel’s greatest treasures, Natasha Collis Shop & Studio.

The showroom, inside a 300-year old building, retains original Ibicenco elements like wooden beamed ceilings and stone floors, creating the perfect combination of antique chic, boudoir-style ambience and tradition.

It is Natasha’s fine handmade jewellery however - created with gold, precious and semi-precious stones – that shines, displayed like objets d’art in custom-made wooden cabinets lining the walls.

From little nugget rings, covered in smatterings of glittering diamonds and sophisticated drop earrings to elegant pendants and spectacular statement necklaces, each Natasha Collis original is a future heirloom with a modern twist.

No two pieces are alike, due to the use of delicate, irregularly shaped gold nuggets - the artist's signature - made using a special technique developed by Natasha, who solders and hammers away in the store’s attached studio space.

Fashion, style and retail run in the former art student’s blood; fashion icon Joan Burstein, aka Mrs B, founder of Browns London is her grandmother and her parents created prestigious beauty brand Molton Brown.

Not in the north? Mobile boutiques visit San Rafael’s L’Elephant lounge bar and Playa d’en Bossa beach club La Plage. Overseas stockists include Barney’s New York and Beverly Hills, Browns London, Designers Guild London, Eden Rock St Barts and other high-end locations. and other high-end locations.
