Stepping inside a Solis Lucrum concept store is like entering Aladdin’s cave, falling down the rabbit hole or arriving somewhere over the rainbow. Three unique treasure troves of eclectic vintage and striking antiques sourced from around the globe, found within the ancient stone walls of Dalt Vila and chic Marina Botafoch.
Having grown up surrounded by art and design, well-traveled founder Anisya Sam – who boasts an impressive background in interior design, marketing and advertising along with a stint as an antique dealer at the acclaimed Christies of London – was destined to develop a keen eye for decadent and interesting creations, and Solis Lucrum was born in 2009.
With a focus on glamour, luxury and femininity, Solis Lucrum’s fashion pieces include custom made kaftans from vintage designer offcuts (think Pucci, Dior and Hermes) vintage Schiaparelli (who is, coincidentally Ani’s muse), handcrafted corsets and jewellery by Mawi. And that’s just the beginning…
On the interiors side, lighting plays an integral part in the store, with Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Spanish hand blown glass and 24-carat gold chandeliers on display. Vintage beds, dramatic art, exotic or painstakingly restored antique wooden furnishings and rare trinkets all add to the intrigue of every visit to Solis Lucrum.
