New! Syd & Rex, Ibiza, Spain

Balearic brotherhood

All-new menswear label Syd & Rex encapsulates the soul of Ibiza and all those kindred spirits who flock here - dubbed the Brotherhood of the Balearic Beat by founder Nick Adcock.

Representing the island’s sunrise to sunset lifestyle through colour and design, high quality swim trunks are at the core of the collection. At first glance, they appear to be classic surf patterns, but on closer inspection, each quirky-yet-stylish print incorporates many things native to the white isle.

Fishy Flowers cleverly hides Ibiza tapas faves pimientos de padron and raones (deep-fried golden fish) within a flower; Sunset Sessions includes island tipple of choice Hierbas, cava sangria and rosé, while Party Dogs is covered in wild Podenco illustrations. And that’s just the beginning…

The brand also extends into block-colour shorts, polos, ultra-soft cotton tees, beach bags and caps, plus a super cute mini-range for boys aged two to 12. Retail therapy comes via the custom-made Syd & Rex beach kiosk at El Chiringuito, or off the racks at reVOLVER, Ushuaia, Blue Marlin, Ibiza Rocks House, Sa Punta, Atzaró, Baron and A-List.

If you can’t wait until touching down in Ibiza for your Syd & Rex fix however, an online store opens later this month, where you may simply order online and have a slice of Balearic life delivered directly to your door!

White's Miss W says: 'I have to tell you, when I was first introduced to Syd & Rex and heard the story of how they were developed, with so-o-o-o-o-o much love, care and attention to detail, it did make me wish that I could wear them too. Instead, I've roped in all my masculine mates... and thus elevated the levels of style we see on Ibiza beaches!'
