The beauty of the diverse nature and dramatic landscape of Atzaró means it is the ideal Ibiza wedding venue, whether you desire an open-air extravaganza or small sunset soiree. In spring of 2010, Brussels couple Nicolas and Oriana opted for the latter, for their traditional Jewish ceremony and glamorous reception.
The couple had chosen Ibiza as a nod to Oriana’s Costa Rican heritage, plus due to its convenience for 120 guests flying in from as far and wide as Brussels, Costa Rica, China, Canada and more. Atzaró was carefully selected by internet research, followed by an introductory visit where they were more than impressed by managers Alex and Kristiina and their levels of expertise in planning large events, and awestruck by the venue’s beauty.
The entire wedding was organised within a brief three-month period - in collaboration with expert wedding planner Kerry Anne Winton of Ibiza Wedding. Every challenge was deftly tackled and made easy – including the venue’s agreement to cover oriental décor out of respect for the couple’s religion – and the newlywed’s say the only stress was to actually enjoy the moment!
Atzaró’s famous gastronomic kitchen provided the catering, which included a mixture of starters like foie gras with mango, mini quiches and chicken tandoori. A deluxe goat’s cheese salad with pear and mushroom was followed with a mouth watering ‘Duck Supreme’ with stewed seasonal friuit as a main, while dessert was served buffet style, with over eight choices to suit all taste buds!
