On a perfectly clear September day in 2009, London-based couple Natalie and Robert invited 120 of their nearest and dearest to join them in Ibiza for their vintage-inspired wedding, with Ibiza wedding photographer Gypsy Westwood on hand to capture the event on camera.
The ceremony took place in the ultra-traditional surrounds of the church in San Carlos, before the happy couple – who were showered in rose petals as they left the building - hopped into a white vintage Volkswagen beetle and zipped off to the beautiful grounds of Agroturismo Can Talaias for the day-to-night wedding reception, where they would eat, drink and be happily married!
Continuing with the vintage theme, the beautiful Ibiza wedding venue was decked out in romantic peonies, lizzinathus and roses, plus chic and simple white decoration. Wedding planning, organisation and catering came courtesy of Eat Ibiza, with the piece de resistance being a three-tier raspberry and white sponge cake created especially for the newlyweds and their guests.
As dusk began to fall and the picture perfect backdrop changed from spectacular lush green rolling hills to an a-l-m-o-s-t perfectly full moon, a Flamenco guitarist provided the entertainment as Natalie and Robert took their first dance. Then the party continued to dance the night away in true Ibiza style… even continuing on to post-wedding celebrations at Aura the very next evening!
