Fantasy island weddings

From a very early age, little girls all over the world dream of falling in love and having their very own fairytale wedding. For brides-to-be lucky enough to have fallen in love with the white isle, a wedding in Ibiza is the sequel to that dream. Making dream weddings in Ibiza reality – no matter what your fairytale entails - is Serena Cook, Deliciously Sorted’s multi-talented, multi-lingual and multi-tasker extraordinaire.

Archetypal toes-in-the-sand type ‘dos on the unspoilt beaches of Formentera, cliff top bohemian chic events and traditional Spanish church weddings - from start to finish (from designing invites and securing the perfect location down to locally sourced gifts for guests) every aspect is expertly executed. Then there are those little extras – fire throwers, ice sculptures, burlesque acrobats or custom-built marquees.

Serena’s wealth of experience in Ibiza and Formentera means she can easily source and (most importantly) cajole the locals into fulfilling your exact needs. Not on the island? No problem – whether a Rabbi and Chupah for a Jewish ceremony or your favourite flowers, they or it will be custom flown in for the occasion.

Serena - who did her first wedding in 2005 and never looked back – says her biggest challenge to date (with nine months of planning and 891 emails to prove it) was a romantic-yet-rustic extravaganza held on a plot of land in San Carlos with no running water or electricity. Needless to say, job done and dusted.

Enlisting Deliciously Sorted to help navigate your nuptials means you also receive the benefits of their impressive concierge service – getting a gaggle of guests to the island is no mean feat, let alone organising their accommodation (be it villa, hotel or even a tepee!), babysitters, hairdressers, chauffeurs, shuttle buses and brunch the following morning.

Unless you’re Deliciously Sorted that is!
