As you descend into Revival Spa, a soft, subtle scent permeates the air, enveloping you in a sense of calm and preparing you for the journey ahead. Based around the concept of the sea’s therapeutic properties, inside you will discover a veritable water world… and then some.

Start with a sauna, steam room or traditional hammam session, using the ergonomically designed cold pond to regulate your body temperature in between. Walk through a curved shower recess, where multiple jets stimulate from all directions, then finish by placing your hands or face on the dripping block of ice suspended from the ceiling to cool and tone the skin.

Revival Spa boasts three indoor pools – in one, swim against a current with a wave machine, or recline on underwater lounges while massaged by jets in another. The piece de resistance however, is the futuristic circular room, featuring a snail like underwater circuit with 11 different types of Jacuzzi-style effects.

Back on dry land – or in this case, stone, slate, marble and glossy tiles – you’ll find an intimate hi-tech gym, a yoga and Pilates studio and eight single and two double treatment rooms, plus one VIP corporate cabin (including two beds, computer access and a Jacuzzi) for those execs who really insist on multi-tasking!

Treatments hail from all over the globe and use predominantly Cinq Móndes products but also incorporate local ingredients such as Formentera mud, Ibiza salts, posidonia seaweed and almonds. Massage (including Ayurvedic, Shiatsu, Thai and Balinese), facials, slimming sessions, revitalising packages, manicures, pedicures and more are available.

Plenty of relaxation space alleviates the need to float back out into the real world and there’s even a winter sunbathing deck by the pools, protected with floor to ceiling glass windows, yet bathed in glorious Ibiza sunlight all day long. Revival Spa is sense-sational!
