In 2011, KsaR Living introduced a new concept in Ibiza home decoration with their Recycled Wood Collection. The bespoke and ready-made range gives unused, unusual and unique old materials a fresh lease on life and is equally as pleasing on the eye as it is on the environment!

The inspiration to create sustainable furniture came to KsaR designer Alberto Cortes after years spent dealing in wood furnishings made him realise certain types of woods were dying out, while others required a constant cycle of replantation, thus draining the world’s resources.

Sourcing a variety of recycled wood from around the world, including teak from Balinese houses, ancient railway beams – some over 100 years old – from Vietnam, antique Asian boats, old doorways and much more, KsaR create each unique design by interlocking individual pieces of wood together like a giant jigsaw or mosaic.

From chunky tables and chairs to sofas, sun lounges (the old wood’s dryness makes it durable enough to withstand the elements) and entire feature walls, different combinations of colours and textures result in a variety of effects. Let KsaR design you a rustic, beach house setting, or if you prefer a more modern approach, chic and sophisticated clean lines like a five-star hotel, or a curved and colourful romantic look.

Prices for the KsaR Recycled Wood Collection vary, starting at 140€ per square metre for custom work and includes individual pieces like small tables for 400€, sun lounges from 900€ and dining tables at 1200€. Bespoke pieces POA.
