The annual El Ayoun reopening extravaganza is an event that draws the Ibiza glitterati out from their winter hibernation – or more likely (based on their glowing tans!), sees them flocking in on their private jets from exotic, warm locations. 2011 was no exception, with more sequins per square metre than backstage at a Kylie Minogue concert! For the first time ever, the garden terrace was open (well, we couldn’t have all those smokers lingering out the front on the pavement now, could we?) which added a great social vibe to the event and allowed even more guests to come through that tiny little doorway over the course of the evening!
