The biggest news this month, and possibly all year, is the entrance of generational planet Neptune into its home sign Pisces on February 3 to stay for 14 years. This affects all signs differently and begins as a stirring within, with the potential for tremendous spiritual transformation. February 7 is an important date with two key events occurring: a full moon in Aquarius, highlighting mental brilliance and communication and the beginning of another Saturn retrograde phase until June. February 21 ushers in the new moon in Pisces when, with enough belief, miracles can happen.

2012 Horoscopes: Your year ahead

White Ibiza’s exclusive astrologer Tamara tells us eclipses are harbingers of major change, like cosmic earthquakes – they agitate the ground upon which we stand and create shifts in the life we know. She says 2012 will observe four eclipses, making it an average year. By contrast, in 2011 we experienced six eclipses; indicating the tumultuous change and shifting of our current zeitgeist. A message for all signs: This month is action-packed with a lunar eclipse and three planets returning to forward motion. The last eclipse of 2011 is on Dec 10 - a full moon in Gemini. It’s visible for 51 minutes in parts of Europe, East Africa, Asia and Australia. Also on this date, planet Uranus stands still and Mercury returns to forward motion on Dec 13. You may have happily bumped into old friends or found lost items during this last retrograde period of the year, though continue to avoid travel, major purchases or signing important documents before then. We welcome a new lunar cycle on Dec 24, then last but certainly not least, jolly Jupiter steps into line on Dec 25. Happy Birthday to Sagittarians, Capricorns and happy holidays to all!
