Sublime sunsets

Cap D'es Falco, Ibiza, Spain

Tucked away at the end of a long and bumpy dirt track in the protected national park of Ses Salines you’ll find Cap D´es Falco. Being hard-to-find makes your journey to this striking location even more worthwhile.

The waterside setting and breathtaking view of rolling hills set the perfect scene for lunch, dinner, cocktails, weddings and special events. We love its unspoilt sunsets – an alternative view of that essential Ibiza experience.

Run by the Fabbri family (originally from Genoa), expect authentic home-cooked Italian cuisine, with fresh pasta and delicious desserts coming courtesy of Mama Fabbri.

Argentinean chef Adrian Octavio’s dishes aren’t what you call run-of-the-mill. Try pineapple carpaccio with pink grapefruit or strawberry and prawn risotto – something you won’t find anywhere else in Ibiza.

We love the lobster, served either grilled or drunk (quite literally - it’s marinated in brandy and wine) and the fresh oven baked fish, accompanied by a fine bottle of Spanish or Italian wine.

There’s also a simple beach menu of bruschettas, ham and cheese platters and bresaola with rocket and Parmesan – perfect if you can’t tear yourself away from the sunshine.

New this year is the fantastic wooden path leading down to the waters edge – making it so much easier to go for a dip in the crystal clear Med. The rustic day beds made out of huge logs of wood are unlike any others on the island and the tall white flags fluttering in the breeze add yet another islandy touch.

Cap D´es Falco’s trademark boat-bar sits beneath blue skies and the super slick cocktail bar serves all our faves - daiquiris, mojitos and freshly squeezed juices - keeping you well watered as you watch the sun sink into the sea.

Chilled beats, sunset entertainers, a pebbled beach, sublime sunsets and all-white luxury - a superb combo indeed!
