Your luxury guide to the best things to do in Ibiza.

The best places to eat and drink on Ibiza. Are you in the know?

A jewel by the sea

Savannah, Ibiza, Spain

At the end of San Antonio’s sunset strip, overlooking what is quite possibly the most famous sunset in the world, Savannah Beach Club is a relaxed and sophisticated respite from the madness and frivolity associated with Ibiza’s second city.

Perched at the end of the promenade that famously brought a new level of quality to the San Antonio scene, Savannah was built in 1997 by Javier Anadón - owner of Café Mambo and exclusive restaurant Villa Mercedes. The concept is simple: a place where you can enjoy a bottle of champagne in luxurious surroundings while watching the last twinkling rays of the sun sink into the sea.

Recline on a rattan lounger on the terrace and sink your teeth into fresh fish or Savannah’s legendary Argentine steak with roast vegetables. Or step inside to the swanky bar with its cool purple lights for a strawberry daiquiri – the house speciality. The chic ambience sets Savannah apart from the standard San An fare and makes it home to some of the island’s hottest pre-parties.

Among the exclusive nights for 2008 is the all-new Friday night pre-party for Pete Tong’s highly anticipated Wonderland at Eden, along with glam El Divino favourite Hed Kandi on Saturdays and Masters At Work Louie Vega making his debut on the wheels of steel every Sunday. Plus there are musical treats like live saxophonists at sundown, for a dash of true lounge spirit.

If you don’t fancy a trip to a super club, there is absolutely no reason to leave Savannah - after dark, the beats are turned up in a cosy, 200 capacity room so us beautiful people can continue on until the wee hours.

Sunset, dinner, drinks and dancing - the one stop destination you can guarantee to visit many times over.
