Sushi by name, sushi by nature
Sushipoint, Ibiza, Spain
When it comes to Sushi we’re a fussy bunch, but the all-new sushipointibiza - a double-barrelled sushi bar and catering service in Marina Botafoch - has passed the taste-test.
Serving delicious sushi, sashimi and Asian salads made to order alongside the sensational Giang Grossi ice cream, all your favourite cocktails, quick and easy breakfasts, vinos and organic teas, sushipointibiza has brought a highly desirable concept to this lush part of town.
New for 2008, Argentinean gents Pablo and Gaston have revamped this ex-ice cream parlour to fulfil their dream of high quality, quick, fresh food served with relaxed professionalism. Hear hear!
Kick-start your day with a brunch special: our favourite Spanish tradition of tostadas con tomate (squished tomato on toast loaded with salt and olive oil), coffee and a fruit smoothie. Throw in a wi-fi internet connection and dealing with those finicky morning emails just became painless.
For lunch, it’s sushi and salads galore. Dine out on the decking in oversized armchairs or make the most of the air-conditioned comfort indoors. In the evenings, just add candles, oodles of sofas, chilled tunes, a relaxed atmosphere and voila! A perfect late-night hangout.
From ice cream-based drinks to fruity daiquiris, the cocktail list provides the perfect balance to the extensive sushi menu. Choose from plates of eight pieces, 12 or upsize to 30 – Uramkis, Futowakis, Sashimi Plates and Nigiris are all on the list.
And then there was ice cream. Exclusive to sushipointibiza are the multitude of Giangrossi flavours, from delectable dulce de leche and mascarpone with red fruits to creamy carrot and mandarin or spicy lemon, lime and ginger sorbet.
For event catering and delivery sushipointibiza is at your service. As for those parked portside, why catch your own when you can have sushi delivered directly to your gangway?
