New Year’s Evening Menu
Iconic island restaurant La Paloma, set in the heart of the San Lorenzo countryside, remains open throughout the winter this season and is set to host a very special New Year’s Eve dinner on the night of Sunday December 31, 2017. Head chef Prasuna has created a family-style celebration that starts with surprise appetisers followed by a first course of ‘cappelletti in brodo’ (traditional homemade dumplings stuffed with veal, parmesan and nutmeg), chickpea velloute with prawns or artichoke and asparagous velloute for vegetarians. For mains, choose between beef tagliata with a truffle and porcini sauce, organic seabream in a lemon, capers, herbs and ghee sauce or vegetarian artichoke and fresh tomato homemade lasagna. Be sure to save room for dessert, with a choice of Chantilly crème brûlée, chocolate mousse with orange or apple crumble. Reservations recommended.
