Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow
An event every week that begins at 9:15am on Tuesday and Friday, repeating until Thursday December 31, 2015
Ashtanga is a dynamic form of yoga, introduced in the 20th century in India by Sri Pattabis Jois and introduced to the west in the ’60s. The well-known series starts with sun salutations, followed by a succession of postures, relaxation and twists – organised with increasing difficulty level: standing, sitting, lying, extension and twists.
This one and a half-hour class practiced in the modern, stylish Hot Yoga Ibiza studios serves as an introduction to the first series, working on flexibility and deep cleansing of the body, especially allowing opening of the pelvis. The class can be adapted to suit all levels of experience and takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9.15am each week.
This dynamic form of yoga usually calls to those who like effort and action via the Vinyasa method (the synchronisation of breathing and movement) and works with breathing called ‘Ujjai’ which permits the optimal management of energy and a significant removal of body toxins. Practiced without heat.
Drop in class 25€. Full week introduction for residents 35€. Monthly passes from 75€.
