New Year’s Eve Menu
On Monday December 31, 2018, northern dining hotspot Nagai, which really comes to life for locals in the winter months, offers a Japanese New Year’s Eve dinner to say sayonara to the old year and konichiwa to the next.
Though sushi is the staple here, an extensive menu reveals contemporary Mediterranean influences throughout both seafood and meat dishes, all exquisitely composed by chef Reina Nagai. A delicious and actually pretty healthy start to the extended celebrations, New Year’s Eve is an invitation to lightly indulge, with friends and family, in the intimate restaurant surroundings, before heading off for a late-night dance til dawn.
