This class is a traditional Hatha class which incorporates both Iyengar & Yin elements (we use block & straps and hold in each asana to work more deeply). We move slowly & mindfully into each pose to ensure we can remain in the asana and remain comfortable. There is a big focus on breath, and we explore different Pranayama (breath-control) which help us relax and bring our minds & bodies into a deeper state of balance. This class does not follow a set format; we incorporate a mix of gentle sun salutations, standing & seated poses, breath awareness & meditation. This is a general level class is suitable for all levels.
