In summer 2016, the much-loved intimate beach of S’Estanyol was given a long overdue makeover, with the intimate onshore restaurant reborn, renovated and under new ownership as Cala Bonita; complete with beach service, a cocktail bar and laid back grooves. Good news for island residents – Cala Bonita now remains open all year round, with lunch service from Wednesday to Sunday plus dinner on Fridays and Saturdays.
Award-winning Australian chef Karen Martini is at the helm of the Mediterranean-influenced kitchen, with a heavy focus on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. While the rest of Europe is enveloped in a blanket of white snow, you can enjoy Martini’s gastronomical delights on the terrace by night from 8pm until 11pm.
