2024 Opening at Ca Na Xica

Thursday April 18, 2024

Laid-back and luxurious Ibiza hotel Ca Na Xica reopens for the season on Thursday April 18, 2024. Award-winning fine dining destination La Gaia by Óscar Molina, set on the ground floor of Ibiza Gran Hotel in the glamorous Marina district, reopens its doors for the season from 8pm tonight. As the very first in-house hotel restaurant on the island to receive a MICHELIN Star and two coveted Repsol Sols, Molina and his talented team have more high-level gastronomic treats in store for diners this season, with impressive new tasting menus inspired by the island’s traditional cuisine and provenance. SHH Shibiza Nights at ROTO Ibiza

8pm – Thursday April 18, 2024

The girls are back in town again on Thursday nights as the team behind SHHH Shibiza Nights bring their glitz and glamour to ROTO Ibiza in the heart of Marina Ibiza. From 8pm, reserve a table in the centre of the action for a fun-filled night right on the edge of the water. After dinner, the dancefloor comes to life with a roster of female-led DJs. Opening Party 24 at Café Mambo

6pm – Friday April 19, 2024

There are sunsets, there are Ibiza sunsets, and then there are the iconic Ibiza sunsets experienced from the front row seats of Café Mambo. The famous bar and restaurant on the San Antonio ‘sunset strip’ reopens for its 30th anniversary season on Friday April 19, 2024. Join seasoned resident DJs Jason Bye, Andy Baxter and Ryan McDermott for the first strawberry daiquiri or icy mojito of the year, as they serenade the fiery ball of sun melting into the sea. Melon Bomb in Freddies at Pikes Ibiza

It’s always guaranteed to be a roadblock at Pikes Ibiza when island favourites Melon Bomb host their monthly Friday night soirée. The local lads, a collective featuring DJs Ben Santiago, Paul Reynolds, Scott Gray and Juan Corbi hit the little club with the big heart that is Freddies – with additional special guest DJs in Plaza Mayor and the teensy tiny Bathtub Club – and are joined by a crew of fiercely loyal Ibiza followers and an up-for-it international crowd. Season Opening at Casa Maca

The seventh edition of the Ibicine Film Festival concludes a packed week of festivities with a gala dinner and film screening on Saturday April 20, 2024 at Monkey Ibiza. The Parisian-chic seafront restaurant, just around the promenade from the famed San Antonio sunset strip, hosts an immersive big-screen projection showing of the famous Spanish film, Tapas. Director José Corbacho won the Best Director Goya for this dramatic comedy, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The Best Film Award of the Ibicine Festival will also be announced at the dinner. Reservations are essential, with all the red carpet action starting from 7pm.

Warm Up Party at Ibiza Underground

From 11pm – Saturday April 20, 2024

The Ibiza clubbing stalwarts behind Ibiza Underground have always liked to break the venue in gently by hosting a Warm Up Party before the summer well and truly arrives. The 2024 pre-season shindig takes place this Saturday night, with the San Rafael club’s beloved resident DJs Don Juanito, Kevin Cook and Marrian behind the decks, and a discerning crowd in front of it. As the saying goes, Ibiza Underground is ‘not for everyone’ but the old-school crew, lovers of diverse music and those who like a dancefloor with room to actually move will be ready to head through those doors as soon as they open at 11pm and are unlikely to leave until dawn. The Ibiza venue has made quite the name for itself as an immersive clubbing experience that blends impressive residencies and surprising guests with cutting-edge sensory projections, a state-of-the-art interactive VIP corridor and more, and 2024 looks set to be even more impressive than ever before.

Authentic Me Meisner Technique Workshop with Nita Arpiainen at Moving Arts Studio

4.30pm – Tuesday April 23 & Wednesday April 24, 2024 

Experienced acting coach and founder of Actors Academy Finland, Nita Arpiainen, hosts a two-day Meisner Technique Workshop in Ibiza on Tuesday April 23, 2024 and Wednesday April 24, 2024, focusing on finding your Authentic Me. Using the renowned actor’s rehearsal method, the Meisner Technique helps access and express your true feelings through the exploration of the practice’s famous repetition exercise in groups and with partners, and much more. The workshop is held over two afternoons from 4.30pm until 9.30pm at the Moving Arts Studios, in the north of the island between San Miguel and San Lorenzo and is open to actors and non-actors alike, in addition to creatives, writers and artists, or anybody looking to discover more freedom, courage and awareness within themselves.
