It’s a family affair at Vino & Co, but more than anything, it’s a labour of love. Founded by father daughter duo, Jeroen and Rosa Hamersma, this island hub serves as a shop, a bar and a meeting point, full to the brim with gloriously diverse, international wines waiting to be savoured and taken home.
When Vino & Co first opened in 2009, Jeroen and Rosa aimed to stock a lesser-known selection of wines for people to enjoy at home, but their heartfelt dedication and unrivalled knowledge proved infectious. Soon wine lovers from across the island were flocking to sample a drop and share tales.
Today, Vino & Co also serves as a wine bar and bistro, open from 5pm until 11pm from Monday to Friday. Stop by for a glass of rich, organic goodness and a plate of delicious food cooked on the premises, such as their famous homemade paté, steak tartare, salmon on toast and oysters for an added kick of decadence.
Wine of course, remains at the core of this endeavour with 25 varieties available to order by the glass and over 300 more stocked on the shelves. Pass by for a tipple, a natter or simply some expert epicurean advice, because Vino & Co really do know their stuff. Just don’t expect to leave empty handed.
