The most famous wine export from Formentera, Cap de Barbaria is harvested from grapes grown in the tranquil vineyard in its namesake area and produced onsite. Although the vineyard itself is closed to the public, you’ll find bottles of award-winning red and white wines (made from Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignion, Merlot and Fogoneu grape varieties) available in most Formentera restaurants – it’s THE Formentera tipple of choice! You can also snap up bottles to take home from Vila Vins, just outside of Sant Francesc.
