New Year’s Eve Menu

With parties popping up all over town, Vara de Rey looks like the place to be to kick off the 2023 New Year celebrations and the team at La Cava have devised a very special set menu for the occasion that’s 100€ excluding drinks or 125€ with a selection of wines, beer and soft drinks until midnight.

Start with an innovative appetiser that fuses croquettes with Spanish calçots in romescu sauce, followed by your choice of Thai scallop salad, baby veggies cooked in the Josper oven or duck cannelloni with foie, mushrooms and pear. For mains, choose between the veal terrine with potato puff pastry, the Galician turbot in albariño sauce or the mushroom risotto with pumpkin cream, and for dessert, the creamy white chocolate and with red fruit micro-sponge cake with a crunchy pistachio base is the perfect sweet treat. At midnight, diners will be given 12 lucky grapes to coincide with the clock striking midnight and the dawn of a new year!
