The Pereyras Live in Café Pereyra

After a 40-year hiatus and a restoration project that took 17 years to complete, Ibiza’s most iconic theatre, Teatro Pereyra, reopened in 2024 – coinciding with its 125^th anniversary – with a splash. And while those who were born and bred in Ibiza or emigrated here before the 80s might still remember the French circus inspired main room, anyone who spent time in Ibiza from the 2000s onwards will remember the nightly live music sessions at Café Pereyra, the bar and entertainment venue adjacent to the once-dilapidated theatre.

No detail was overlooked in the impressive refurbishment and Café Pereyra has been given a full glow-up to match its glamorous theatrical main room. Continuing with the much-loved tradition of years gone by, talented in-house live band The Pereyras take to the stage inside the bar every night from 10.30pm to bring back some of the rock and roll spirit of the venue’s later years. Order a cocktail from the Sandoval & Compañia bars, mingle with local characters and international holidaymakers, and expect to be up on your feet and dancing to the vibrant soundtrack before the clock strikes 12.
