Ibiza Insights presents Balearic Beat: A Moment in Time

Lovers of the Ibiza music scene and history buffs alike will love this Friday’s edition of Ibiza Insights, taking place at the beautiful Finca La Plaza in Santa Gertrudis and hosted by author and all-round Ibiza expert Maya Boyd. The event is themed ‘Balearic Beat: A Moment in Time’ and steps back in time to the early 1990s to uncover more about the era from three of the key music industry heavyweights who experienced the halcyon days of Ibiza’s past as they happened.

Maya will be joined in conversation by Café Mambo head honcho Javier Anadon, Danny Whittle of the International Music Summit and renowned dance music journalist Ralph Moore. There’s also a screening of the seminal flick A Short Film About Chilling, introduced by Balearic stalwart Charlie Chester, who also happens to be featured in the film. Tickets essential for the event, reservations recommended for dinner afterwards.
