The perfect blend of laidback, relaxed island vibes, a holiday town atmosphere and buzzing gastronomy and social scene, Santa Eulalia is Ibiza’s third largest resort and so self-contained it would be possible to holiday here without ever venturing outside, if you so desire. Everything you need is at your fingertips: restaurants, hotels, bars, beaches, water sports, shopping, kids activities, wellness, fitness and so much more…
The fortified 16th century church of Puig de Missa presides proudly over the municipality from a hill above the town – you’ll spot it as you drive in from Ibiza town – and is a beautiful spot to stop and take in the stunning surroundings. If you prefer a touch of VIP treatment during your holiday, check out the sleek five-star resorts in the area which all offer luxurious spas and restaurants, including Vi Cool, the rooftop restaurant by Spanish celeb chef Sergi Arola, in the eco-resort of Aguas de Ibiza.
When to visit
There’s an all year round local social scene in Santa Eulalia, though it’s fair to say most of the tourism action takes place between Easter and late October. The first week of May plays host to Energy Week, a weeklong festival of wellness attracting experts and visitors from all over the world.
