W Lounge & Glow at W Ibiza

Ibiza attracts a cosmopolitan, jet-set crowd, and to accommodate their discerning tastes, W Ibiza has designed not one, but two spectacularly stylish Ibiza bars within its luxury beachfront resort on the shores of Santa Eulalia. Boasting their own distinct characters, W Lounge is an expansive space in which to see and be seen, drink cocktails, and attend an ever-evolving agenda of inspiring events. Glow, meanwhile, is an adults-only rooftop haven with panoramic views of the sparkling Mediterranean, an infinity pool, and a second home to some of the island’s most talented mixologists. Shaped similarly to an amphitheatre, with tiered steps that tumble down to pool level, W Lounge sits beneath an iridescent mandala that’s been painted on the ceiling. Strewn with brightly coloured cushions, and with an always buzzing atmosphere, the chic Ibiza bar plays host to a range of the hotel’s curated events, featuring live music and immersive sets from the island’s favourite resident DJs. Open throughout the day, stop by for a quick nutritious smoothie or a tasty smoothie, with pulled beef bao sliders, patatas bravas and tuna tataki great for sharing, and classic and vegan burgers ideal post-beach.

After the sun sets, visit W Lounge for a pre-dinner pick-me-up, choosing from a range of delicious bespoke cocktails like The Watermelon Frosé, made with locally produced Ibizkus rosé plus pink gin, fresh watermelon, lime and raspberry, and the Margaribiza which comes with generous doses of Olmeca Blanco, mezcal, Sal de Ibiza, lemon and agave. For sundowners with views, head straight for the rooftop, and the warm embrace of Glow, where a different menu of outstanding cocktails are whipped up by the best in the business. This Ibiza bar hosts the hotel’s range of hip W Ibiza Happenings, every Wednesday to Sunday night from 8pm.

Also open during the day for alfresco meals, drinks and vistas, Glow serves a delectable menu that tastes best with clear blue sky above, twinkling sea below and the promise of a cooling dip in the pool. Tuck into indulgent plates including crispy pork gyozas, creamy burrata and avocado salad, and hearty poke bowls.
